Symptom check
Start with recognition
A symptom starts the diagnosis. It does not automatically decide the product.
Original suspension
Understand the starting point
Riders commonly describe a mix of initial fork harshness, brake dive, bottoming, rear squat and reduced control when heat or luggage builds. Not every motorcycle or rider experiences every symptom.
One setup for a wide range of riders and loads.
Changing luggage can move the chassis away from its intended balance.
Rear and front are selected to work as one chassis.
Front support
Rear control
Small sharp bumps can feel abrupt, while hard braking, G-outs or loaded off-road impacts can still consume travel quickly. The correct route depends on whether the limitation is support or hydraulic control.
Passenger and luggage load can reduce rear ride height. On sustained rough terrain, riders may also notice less rebound control as the shock works harder and heats up.
Rear squat can unload the front and alter steering confidence. Subtle factory clicker changes may not restore the intended front-to-rear balance for every load and route.
Contamination can shorten fork-seal life. Clean the fork legs and inspect seals regularly; a spring or Cartridge upgrade does not replace normal maintenance.
Configurator
Deterministic product routing
Rider weight, changing load, terrain, pace and the main complaint determine the complete front-and-rear route.

Choose integrated HPA when passenger or luggage load changes often and quick ride-height correction is useful. Rider weight alone does not select HPA. TFX does not offer or recommend HPA as a standalone product.
Traveler is the road, touring and predominantly paved-adventure route. Xtreme is the route for long adventure travel, poor roads, world travel, aggressive riding and serious off-road use.
The Cartridge route is selected for serious off-road, aggressive riding or hydraulic-control complaints such as sharp-impact harshness and loaded bottoming. Rider weight alone does not select it.
SKU CF-0954-00PS is a one-size set of progressive fork springs supplied with 1 litre of TFX front fork oil. The Netherlands consumer price is €174 including 21% VAT.
Progressive fork springs are the first route for road, touring and lighter mixed use when support, sag or brake dive is the main limitation. A Cartridge changes the hydraulic control and is the route for serious off-road, aggressive use or repeated sharp-impact and bottoming complaints.
The validated TFX +25 mm configuration increases ride height and ground clearance. Standard length preserves the factory ride height. Front and rear height choices must remain matched.
Yes. Service Kit SKU 110-0000-17 (€50 incl. NL VAT) and prepaid TFX shock service SKU 100-0000-01 (€150 incl. NL VAT; normally €210) may be selected separately with any validated TFX rear shock. They are never preselected and do not change the technical recommendation.
The rear shock is a direct replacement and typical installation takes approximately 60–90 minutes. Fork work requires specialist tools and the correct oil and air-gap procedure, so installation by a suspension specialist is recommended.
